Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026-08-06

SpeedTest Pro (“we”, “us”) provides a free browser-based internet speed test. This policy explains what we do — and do not — collect when you use the site.

Speed tests are anonymous

We do not require an account and we do not log your IP address, physical location, or browsing habits for marketing or profiling. Benchmark tests are designed to remain anonymous and private.

What happens during a test

When you run a test, your browser measures download, upload, ping, and related metrics by exchanging data with measurement endpoints. Results are shown to you in the page. We do not sell personal browsing history or build advertising profiles from your tests.

Technical and analytics data

Like most websites, hosting and analytics providers may process limited technical data needed to operate and improve the service (for example, aggregate traffic or performance metrics). We aim to keep this minimal and not tied to identifiable speed-test history.

Cookies and local storage

The site may use local browser storage for preferences such as theme (light/dark). These settings stay on your device and are not used to identify you across other websites.

Third-party measurement

Speed measurement may use third-party network endpoints (for example, Cloudflare edge infrastructure) so results reflect a path similar to real-world browsing. Those providers process the network traffic required to complete the test under their own terms.
